Weaving History

After the USA invaded Afghanistan in late 2001, rug weavers started to feature 9/11 inspired designs for their rugs. They had done it before with the Russians… It’s truly amazing how they weave Kalashnikovs, bombs, and airplanes into a rug that tells their history and hardships.
