First time something I made is on the cover of a magazine.
Ipali coathanger: designed with Juanco for D&D.
I wish i could push it a bit to the left…

As part of Milano Design in the City Kasthall’s showroom will exhibit rugs created with their rug designer software.
If you’re in town come and check out the rug I designed for them!
I’ll post some images after Friday’s opening so as not to spoil the surprise…
The website has been down these past few days.
It’s now fixed, hmm, I think.
I’ll post some stuff soon enough.
Be cool, cause I’m not.
So what’s happening?
I’ve been posting a lot less than I’m used to…
Why?
My design energy is focused on a nice big project that I’ve been working on since December.
I’ll show it in a couple of months or so.
In the meantime, I’m sketching more than usual, and I’m starting to write a book.
Let’s see how that pans out///
How about you?
What are you doing?

I just broke my “no making stuff for design competitions” rule.
What the heck, it took all of 20 mins to do Core77’s design a longboard griptape.
The winner gets the skateboard with his design on it…
I want it!
Congratulations to Stephanie + Mark..!
Thanks for the link guys. That was an awesome use for the palettes 1/ 2/ 3/ 4/
For new people coming to lorbus.com:
Welcome!
I’ll be back to posting full speed tomorrow.
I have a big presentation in a few hours and the past week has been lazy on the blogging front.
So, grab a nice cold drink, and go through the archives!

Got back from Caracas.
Had a great time with my family.
I’m recharged and full of ideas…
Let’s see what happens.
This photo is of a mural in the lobby of the Hotel Avila.
Never stayed there but it looks cool, in a Wallpaper-y sort of way.
I wish the city was still this simple///
Hey! I forgot I had a website!
No really, I’m on vacation in Caracas until the 31st.
Thanks for the company, I’ll try to post interesting things I see around here.

I’ve been missing for last few days. Here’s what’s going down:
*I was designing a couple of clocks with juanco for D&D. They’ll be out in April.
*I had my one and only wisdom tooth removed. (see above)
*I was thinking of where to take the website…
Now, let’s get on with the show.
I’ll be back around the 21st of this month.
Be cool, I’m hot.
Summer melted away my inspiration…
I made several tweaks here and there on the site:
Be cool.
Now back to making more stuff!
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
Aqui esta la entrevista que me hizo Gladys Rodríguez el mes pasado…
Denle a play, me avisan!
For the non-spanish speakers out there:
This is the audio for a radio interview I did last month.
I just finished designing and implementing Diamantini & Domeniconi’s website.
It’s still a work in progress so it’s rough around the edges.
At least they now have a much needed web presence..!

Snap was published in June’s Wallpaper.
They have such wonderful taste :0)
This is the second time around!
Bienvenidos a mi site.

The Salone is finally over…
I’m back to my reality and feel like changing it.
I’m starting my own furniture/accessories company.
Limited edition pieces made by the hands of angels.
No detail left untouched.
Quality above all else.
Materials to drool over.
Embedded secrets, all poetry, no filler.
Ohh, and the shoe has nothing to do with it.
I’ll tell you all about it as we go along…
I got back to Milano just as the circus is arriving.
The Salone del Mobile is here so posting will be sporadic/nonexistent until next week.
Chill.

My most sincere and heartfelt congratulations to Vanessa and Fernando.
The wedding was awesome, the food delicious, and the time spent in LA memorable.
Thanks again for everything, both of you guys rock!

Hey…
All the best, may half of your wishes come true!
I’m back from my online hiatus.
My only 2008 resolution for the site is this:
Create something new every day for a year.
It can be anything. A drawing, song, thought, photo, whatever as long as I created it.
Lets hope I can meet all our expectations and see if I’m as creative as I think I am.
Cheers.
As you can see I’m back from São Paulo.
I feel rested , recharged, and ready fo’ Freddy.
In the work department I’ve got my plate full:
I started collaborating with my good friend Pascal Tarabay, helping out on his designs.
I’m sure we’ll make a great team and get lots of work done.
I’m halfway through a Canon video project with Studio Ito.
This has been an awesome experience, and getting to do cutting-edge/ experimental work for big companies makes me smile wide.
…And working with Setsu is always a treat.
I’ve got some new Diamantini & Domeniconi things in the oven.
Here’s hoping we can solve the great challenge for the Salone del Mobile.
