Some Things Are So Hard To Say
2008/11/27
…even though you’d say them every day.

In our never-ending search for unblemished virginity, we became addicted to shininess.
Our carb-craving brains surrender to hard candy gloss, making anything look delicious.

You can’t polish a turd was wrong…
Well guess what?
You actually can!

I render a slick, spotless, and unachievable future that will never exist.
I take your primal screams, wrap them, and sell them back to you.

Only dust *.*.

sticky fingers %&#
and oily ears
can burst our dream of slippery desire©.

Years from now the photoshop aesthetic will be recognized as our times Renaissance.
Where we made a turn into superficial perfection.

Direction Unknown:
That’s where I’ve been going for the past year///
This small table is a reflection of my current struggle to find a direction in my design.
It is a work in progress and is by no means finished.
The magnetic force field is engraved into the top.
Top and base are made of Corian, and the leg is in lacquered bronze.
There is a compass in the center and the name of piece is encoded into the leg in Morse code.
Let me know what you think.
As for me, at least I’ll know where North is now.

I’ve had these two bottles for a few years.
I’ve kept them apart always knowing they belong together.
White: Sake: Can’t remember the name, and I don’t read japanese.
Green/black: Gattinara Torracia del Piantavigna.

Once every six months or so I stroll by this building.
It’s colored tiles are one of my favorite color combos.
I also enjoy the visual sound it creates with it’s concrete rhythm///

Idea for a documentary:
One room in a hotel
One camera
One month
Film the people that come and go, pick and pack, fuck and blow.
Uncensored, edit out the boring parts.
A sweetly packed slice of life and a study on how people project
who they are into their surroundings.
